As we honor his life and work today, let us embody his message in our daily actions by choosing dialogue over discord, practicing kindness in the face of indifference, standing for justice even when it is difficult, and building bridges across differences to strengthen our communities.
In a world still grappling with division and conflict, Dr. King’s words remind us that peace is active. It requires courage, empathy, and a commitment to seeing the humanity in one another.
Today we pause to reflect on the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the 40th #MLKDay. His vision of the Beloved Community, a society rooted in justice, compassion, and reconciliation which remains as urgent and necessary in 2026 as it was in his lifetime.
