1. Think beyond the mortgage. Plan for taxes, insurance, utilities etc.
2. Drive 'til you qualify. Venture out further for cheaper homes & to qualify 4 a mortgage.
3. Use down payment assistance programs. 🤑

Tap into local/regional aid from nonprofits like Team Rubicon, Red Cross & the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Relief (VOAD).
