Decent mastering is usually my biggest expense after pressing costs. But what was about £4k two years ago (two-disc gatefold) is edging towards £7k now.

I see it’s about £7 a unit for a 200 run on eco-mix, not including mastering. Or inserts.

Yeah, the price is on the up. Under 500 these days almost makes it impossible. Unless you do those eco vinyl runs which come in at 99p per unit, which might make it affordable.

Anyone used Transglobal to send vinyl? It’s super cheap to send from UK to the US (for example) and so I’m interested in seeing if can significantly lower shipping costs.
