Lagasse: Time for a refresher on the powers of Parliament Canada's intervention in Iraq has raised questions about Parliament's role in governing. Opposition parties have chastised the government for not consulting the leg…

Does the Cdn govt need approval from the House of Commons to deploy the military overseas? No.

Have govts sought that approval before? Symbolically yes, in some cases, but not consistently.

Is there a constitutional convention of parliamentary approval? No.

Unfortunately he won't relent for the next 3 years. He will be campaigning non-stop to appeal to the disgruntled Canadians in hopes of gaining their vote and form the next government.

The Russian government is having hackers go after Americans who published ice agents identities

So, the Russian government is helping Donald Trump defend his half ass Gestapo Clowns, because doing domestic cyber attacks would be almost impossible for the GOPEDO Dunces

The smell of sharpening skates takes me right back to my days at the rink growing up. Thanks to B-Sharp, a local staple in Nepean, for letting me take a turn behind the machine.

Listen, let's not rule out that drawing Jamil Jivani's name in Secret Santa might have been what actually prompted the floor crossing.

A pair of small hands holding a beige envelope addressed in red crayon to "Santa Claus, North Pole, HOH OHO". The return address in the top left reads "123 Main St, Anytown, A1A 1A1 ON". A small stamp is in the top right corner. A pink crayon lies on the dark table nearby, with another child's drawing partially visible in the background.

When a few Canada Post employees in Vancouver started answering letters to Santa in the early-1970s, it eventually led to the most famous postal code in Canada.
H0H 0H0.
Each year, thousands of letters to Santa from around the world are answered.
This is the story.

He was caught raising funds for the NAZI party in the Netherlands while he was the US Ambassador there. After that, you have to assume he is capable of ANYTHING shitty.
He has NO SHAME!

I’m no political strategist, but I think one of member of the Ontario NDP (and even the Liberals) should make a point every day of being ejected from the legislature for calling the Ford government corrupt.

Pay attention to what Democratic candidates are saying right now. Find and support the fighters. Having a spine must be a litmus test issue in 2026 and beyond.

If I go into the hospital emergency for a cut they'll Stitch it for a break they'll put it back together for a brain tumor they'll do what's needed to get you out of an emergency situation and get you on the right track for treatment. Been there and done it with my kids. No money crosses hands.

Then you should sit this one out. If you go to a hospital in Canada you'll never get turned away because you don't have enough money that's universal healthcare. If conservatives get their way we won't even have that so be grateful and quit criticizing what we have.

Pennsylvania has an important Supreme Court race coming up on Tuesday, November 4. If you live in the Keystone State, or know someone who does, vote YES to retain three justices who will protect your fundamental rights and freedoms.

It must be some kind of record to poll this low when you have never formed government. 👀
