Scary stuff and the reporters at CBS seem to be cheerleaders for Germany's smug and Orwellian censorship regime.

2014 borders and NATO membership (Swiss style neutrality is a more worthy goal) were always unrealistic. If any deal looks better than that which Boris Johnson helped to scuttle in 2022, I'll be surprised. The sad difference is that so many Ukrainians died needlessly in the interim.
From 2014...when many on the left were quite comfortable accusing USAID of being in bed with the CIA.

Bernie admitted he got Pharma money but said it was from "workers." Which workers? What does that mean exactly?
Some powerful moments in a much-maligned project. This is about as close to a complete version that we have.

“People think if you’re a secessionist, you’re crazy,” Ruiz Evans said on Saturday. “I hate Donald Trump,” he added. “I am full-blooded Mexican. The day he went on TV and said all Mexicans are rapists, I said, ‘He can go f*** himself.’ “

Anyone convicted of sedition needs a full pardon (not just a commutation) for that offense. Long before Eugene Debs went to prison under that malleable standard, it belonged in the same discredited category as blasphemy laws.

A life sentence for facilitating peaceful transactions among consenting adults is hard to fathom, let alone justify.
"Private efforts to combat wildfires are not just for the mansions of the superrich. In fact, many private companies that respond to wildfires now work for insurers..."
Before taking office, Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles had said she would not go abroad. She was overseas when wildfires erupted.
NPR is trying to avoid funding cuts by depicting its stations as unique conduits of information for communities hit by disasters. Perhaps the folks there need to read my article about how talk radio performed this role in Tuscaloosa:

“And you know,” he added, “when you have millions of people reading, going online, reading this stuff, it is — anyway, I think it’s — I think it’s really shameful.”

Allow? Who stopped California from doing this?
Any serious journalist would make this the lead.
"humans could have taken some steps to potentially lessen the impact of Mother Nature’s wrath. Inconsistent vegetation management, aging infrastructure and homes, and a lack of planning likely contributed to fires."
It's no secret that months of pandemic-era lockdowns led to dramatic learning loss among American children. What has surprised researchers is exactly which students were most affected, especially in math.
"Don't politicize" is code terminology for "don't make Newsom accountable"
Better yet. Don't ban any of them.
Fellow members of the duopoly laughing at the sheeple?
Reminder: Insurance is not a savings account. It's a hedge against an unlikely scenario. A house located in a fire zone catching on fire is a likely scenario. Californians would stop building in fire zones if California legalized new affordable housing in cities and didn't cap fire insurance rates.
Canada did not have a central bank until 1934.
I was trying to get it in youtube (isn't it public domain?) but couldn't find anything, except stuff like abridged version and renditions by school theater departments, etc. What is going on at youtube?
No map of any kind of settlements appears in a google search under that name, Can you produce one?
Perhaps you need to complain to the Jerusalem Post for spreading fake information. More seriously, what newspaper or source would you accept as credible?
Here is a map from the Jerusalem Post. Do you question that source? If so, what paper in Israel do you find credible.
The settlers have made Israel-Palestine into a defacto single state as they are grow that fact is becoming even more intractable. They are widely scattered (see below). It is not realistic to expect that they (or state of Israel) will allow foreign countries just "step in" there.
Step in would mean removing over 500K settlers who are widely scattered throughout the West Bank. That is no longer feasible. They are not leaving and they are armed. The beauty of a Swiss system is there would no reason for them leave. The settlements a permanent reality. Time for realism.
"It won’t be a two state" and "a single state is not one of them." Okay, that rules two state and one state? What is your long-term sustainable alternative?
You said that you were against two state, now it seems that you are for it. Which is it?
