The Way Out by Rebecca Buxton, Samuel Ritholtz - Hardcover Scholarship is a powerful tool for changing how people think, plan, and govern. By giving voice to bright minds and bold ideas, we seek to foster understanding and drive progressive change.

It's officially publication day for our book, The Way Out. Sam and I have worked on this since we first put our heads together in 2019, and it's fair to say that the context shifted under our feet as we were writing and thinking.

I don't think it is Nietzsche. It would probably be in Human, All Too Human or Daybreak if it was, and I can't find it in a quick search of those.

My day was spent with Ian McEwan's new novel What We Can Know. McEwan has written novels that I adore (The Child in Time) and novels I intensely dislike (Atonement). About halfway through the new book I thought it might be his best work, by the end not sure but it is very good. More thought needed.
