The last time the government released figures on numbers of US military personnel in Britain (January 2024) they disclosed 13,437.
But this only covered seven US bases.
The government has just said "approximately 11,000" are here, but refuses to provide numbers at each base.
The University of Sheffield has stopped paying staff.
Not for striking but for refusing to work unpaid to make up for strike days they were already docked for.
