When I was a kid growing up in the NYC/North Jersey area, my parents and I watched the local news on Channel 2/WCBS - TV (RIP Jim Jensen), followed by Walter Cronkite. Even though things were crazy at the time, the grownups believed our country and its values would triumph. I'm not sure anymore. 💔

As a cradle and still practicing Catholic, I do not doubt the presence of embodied evil (the devil, or the enemy, if you will) exists. I also strongly believe the vast majority of Republicans are either his spawn or his minions. Those people have neither a soul, compassion, or a conscience.
