Convective core overshooting influences stars' internal structure, determining which ones become black holes. It also affects BH masses and the pre-supernova location of stars in the HRD.💫
Increased overshooting results in initially lower-mass stars forming black holes.🔭🌌
My first author paper on Convective core-overshooting on the final fate of massive stars is accepted for publication in A&A: arxiv.org/abs/2311.05701 🔭
We found that black hole progenitors have specific luminosity and CO core masses at the end of core carbon burning. 🌌💫

The game test was followed by a discussion with the high school students who were very interested in the game and in what makes a planet habitable. They were engaged in discussion and we got a lot of useful feedback for our final version of the game 🔭🌍🌌
Last week was so much fun! We welcomed more than 20 high school students at HITS and together we played the Habitable Game. They really enjoyed playing the game and learned a lot about the habitability of the planets 🔭 🌍🌌
