Typst looks extremely cool, and I'm kind of wishing I had discovered it before I went the chromic path for generating PDFs in our platform.

Curious what your use case(s) for Typst are?

I hate that I would find this useful, but yes.

Curious, from a high level, what’s driving that? I assume at the data layer you’re doing some sort of transformation / normalization to more efficiently handle all the possible properties necessary to define an audience?

This looks great!

The same way I do or would if I was using a controller. You still need server side validation, which you can get using echo changeset. And to_form is designed to work with changesets (in both directions, going from or to a changeset).

I was so excited about the new component macro support, but then I realized this version does not support interpolation.

@steffend.me I went searching yesterday to try to understand if interpolation for component macros is on the roadmap, but came up short. Is this something we think might make 1.2

GitHub - edgurgel/solid: Liquid template engine in Elixir Liquid template engine in Elixir. Contribute to edgurgel/solid development by creating an account on GitHub.

I wonder if approach could also be applied to liquid template strings with Solid? 🤔

This is a solid approach. It's similar to what Twitter was before it became a paid -for service.

Although the question becomes: what happens if a verifier goes rogue or begins to start selling verifications? Will @bsky.app begin to revoke their ability to verify others?

Looking great! Curious how much effort it was to support Phoenix 1.8?

Elixir Patterns book & Livebooks Learn recipes and patterns specific to Elixir/OTP

Just finished reading "Elixir Patterns". Lots of good working code examples with some pretty neat tricks that I have encountered for the first time. Big shout out to @akoutmos.bsky.social and @hugobarauna.com for this excellent book!

How do conservatives reconcile this with "illegal immigrants don't pay taxes"?

This is great, thanks for sharing. Do you happen to have any code examples that practice this model?

We’re doing the same, but with svelte.

Elixir GenServer error crash related to phoenix live view.

I have a very obtuse live view crash that is happening right now that I wonder if this could assist with. I am about to go start naming every process I can 😵‍💫

The final Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. The entire page is mostly white as they're in the winter snow. The pair is walking with a sledge, nicely duffled in in scarves, hats, gloves. Calvin delightedly exclaims 'wow, it really snowed las night! Isn't it wonderful?'. Hobbes follows up with 'Everything familiar has disappeared! The world looks brand-new!' -- A new year... a fresh, clean start!' adds Calvin. As they look over the landscape, Hobbes observes 'it's like having a big white sheet of paper to draw on!' -- 'A day full of possibilities!' Calvin affirms. They get ready on their sledge and Calvin tells his friend 'it's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy... let's go exploring!', and the pair sledges off into the wintery landscape.

There is no issue if you don’t care about or don’t believe in the potential that the Chinese government is collecting data on Americans and/or controlling the algorithms in which Americans use to consume content.

The average user will not pay for social media. Locking the platform behind a paywall will only erode the user base and eventually cause it to die off or remain a shell of what it could be.

Ok, this is incredible. For anyone familiar with BART in the Bay Area, someone (sneakily) stuck a GoPro to the front of one, filmed an entire journey end-to-end, and then made a documentary out of it (overlaying fascinating audio). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-Jrp6it9Ss
