Nicht mal 5min sind gespielt, und schon ist es das Derby der Abgeschriebenen – 0:1 durch Ex-FC-Spieler Castrop, dann 1:1 durch Ex-Borussen El Mala. Was zur Hölle?! 😂 #koebmg #bundesliga

Bargeboards are ornate aerodynamics, artistic but fragile. Haven't missed them to be honest. #F1 #AusGP

What a great race, esp for being the 1st race of a new rule cycle. Which again confirms that F1 isn't just the pinnacle of motorsport, but also the pinnacle of whinging. #f1 #AusGP

Regarding the latter: Betting odds are neither a forecast nor a prediction. It's people betting as well as betting companies trying to win money, and the betting companies set the odds.

Sweden will be top 5 by Wednesday, mark my words. Sweden is never a dark horse, and betting companies don't want to lose money. #Eurovision

Most songs are loops of few melodies. Bangaranga has cheap lyrics, but this isn't meant to be a Salvador Sobral song, but rather a vibrant dance song, and it is good at that. It plays with speed which makes it stand out, and it's catchy.

You are free to refuse, but it is stage-proven (unlike the internally selected songs) and it already has gained some traction. Also, it has more quality than it seems on the surface.

Yeah, but dark horse is a phrase for an unexpected contender for a win, and Sweden is the most certain contender throughout Eurovision history.

However, a spread-out field might be exactly most helpful for that country. On the other hand, at least the many strong contenders might also drive each its supporters to vote in large enough numbers to overturn the lobby voters. This might become the strongest #Eurovision since at least 2021.

I think we can also add Bulgaria and some surprise success to be fighting for a top spot as well, but yeah, the Nordics are very strong indeed. #Eurovision #Melfest

That most national finals allow more people on stage always feel so wrong to me.

There is no dark horse from Sweden, ever. There's a reason they won seven times already. #Eurovision

Kemi Badenoch not truly calling for a general election is telling... this is an opposition leader fearing elections themself.

Sidcup man convicted aover explosive attack on Ulez camera Kevin Rees's homemade bomb caused damage to vehicles and property including a child's bedroom.

This was a minor story on London news this morning - but suspect is a real cautionary (and alarming) tale of an older man getting radicalised online.

Blocking Burnham might be Christmas come early/late for the Greens, because people don't vote for parties in shambles, especially if the party's popularity is as low as Labour's is right now.

They could've taken an Andy Burnham by-election win on the chin, say he won because of his local popularity, and move on. Instead, they went on to blow up the Labour party.
When blocking opponents from elections is your only option, then you are too weak to lead a party, let alone a country.

Starmer's choices were both demonstrations of his weakness. This one comes with an impression of skullduggery & brazen fixes. It also runs a huge risk of handing the byelection to another party. The clock ticks, louder

Depending on who will compete for Labour, I wouldn't discount the Greens being in the fight as well. If this becomes a referendum on Starmer, the Greens might win.

BREAKING: On the decision to block Andy Burnham from standing in the Gorton and Denton byelection:

“This isn’t the way any democratic organisation should be run”

Nah. (In part because it has always been v hazardous). There's also a big difference between 'what these politicians say publicly' and 'what their own allies will actually do on the NEC'.

The only thing I see: Starmer and allies are dumping their pants, and Starmer is already a lame duck PM. If the only way to retain power within the Labour party is to block Andy Burnham at all costs, then you have already lost any power.
