Between today being Artemis II’s launch day and ordering a portable led testing kit, the ‘tism is having a fabulous day.
Finding out that an ice cream store is not called a crematorium. I have made a horrible mistake

Is it against the spirit of Pi Day to order a square pizza?

I made this dupe of Chick-fil-a sandwich to see what the fuss is, and… that’s it? It’s barely mediocre fast-food tbh, and I’m a great cook so I know it’s not my cooking.

"One of the marvels of 'Heated Rivalry' is its de-emphasis of tragedy," the critic Wesley Morris writes. "It hails from the world of the romance novel, where gay plots aren’t novel at all."
She’d probably love that. I’m a salt girlie but she exceeds even me.
Heartbreaking news. Jesse Jackson gave his whole life to fighting for human rights.

View of a backyard on a very snowy morning. No sun. Just snow, immaculate. Untouched.
“Gentlemen! We do not stop 'til nightfall.”
“But what about winter?”
“You've already had it.”
“We've had one, yes. But what about second winter?”
Unintelligent siamese cat sits in the bottom of a laundry hamper, confused as to how she fell in again.
“Help, Mother. I fell into the laundry hamper again.”

Oooof, Lake Ontario strikes again. I remember my parents coming out in 2013 for New Years after a huge ice storm, and they were certain they would be fine despite our warnings.
The entire trip was them complaining about how awful the weather was. Yes, Edmonton may be cold, but not THAT
I’ve sent it to my dad to fill out (mom is ESL) as they were waiting in RD for 10 hours yesterday with concerns that my 68 yo mother was having another heart attack.
She got faster treatment for a heart attack during COVID - almost no wait + immediate surgery for a stent.
I truly hope you or your loved ones are not among the people who are suffering or experiencing a worse outcome while waiting for care in an Alberta ER and/or hospitals.
However, if you are/were, please consider sharing your experience - use the form at the bottom of this story.

Brainless siamese cat in a box with a vacant expression. Beautiful but the vacuum of space is behind those eyes.
The only thing worse than finding your basement has a leak is when your dumbass cat finds a toy that she wants to play with right beside that water and then while playing with the toy she rolls into the water, gets wet and has a meltdown while you’re trying to clean up.

42% of those that live in poverty are working.
Many people still think of poverty as something that happens when people don’t work. But the reality is different: majority of people who live in poverty in Canada are working or live in families who work. @gillianpetit.bsky.social and my 2026 chart to watch www.theglobeandmail.com/business/eco...
