Washington's harmful trade policies are hitting the North Country hard. Cross-border travel is down, hotel & restaurant jobs dropped 2.6%. Families are paying up to $1,700 more a year.
We need policies that strengthen our relationship with Canada and keep costs down for working families.

Great morning at Canajoharie High School speaking with a class of seniors! Thoughtful questions and honest conversations.
These students are engaged, informed, and ready to shape the future and that gives me a lot of hope. Thank you to the school and staff for the warm welcome!
Grateful for the endorsement of the United Food and Commercial Workers. These are the workers who keep our food system and our communities going. I’m proud to stand with them.
Our campaign is fired up and ready to win. It’s time to bring real, common sense leadership back to the North Country.
ENDORSEMENT ALERT: 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East members care for our loved ones when it matters most. Honored to have their endorsement.
In a time of division, we need more voices calling for dignity, compassion, and peace.
I appreciate Bishop LaValley’s reminder to lead with respect and humanity.
We can disagree, but we shouldn’t lose sight of our shared responsibility to treat people with decency

Rising energy costs from the Iran conflict are hitting the North Country hard - at the pump, at the store, and on the farm.
Families shouldn't have to choose paying bills and putting food on the table. Congress needs to stop the chaos & make life more affordable.

We had an issue with our manure system at the farm this weekend - but as a dairyman, I'm used to cutting through the BS.
It's time Congress does the same. End the dysfunction and partisan politics. Lower costs. Deliver for the American people.
The North Country was promised lower costs, but we’ve seen out of DC is tax breaks for corporations and conflicts creating chaos and unpredictability.
In Congress, I’ll crack down on price gouging so corporations can’t take advantage of our communities when prices spike.
You can’t represent rural America if you’ve never lived it. It's time to send a farmer to Congress who actually lives here to represent everyone in this incredible district.

Had a great bipartisan Agriculture roundtable with NY-21 farming community leaders on rising costs, fair markets, labor workforce shortages, and keeping farms viable.
Hearing from those on the ground is how we build a stronger North Country.
Had a great bipartisan ag roundtable with farmers & producers across NY-21 discussing rising costs, fair markets, workforce shortages, and keeping farms viable.
Listening to those doing the work every day is how we can actually lower costs and create a stronger North Country.
Nothing says spring like new calves on the farm - new life, hard work, and hope for what’s ahead.
That same spirit is why I’m running for Congress: to fight for a stronger future for every family in the North Country.
Thank you to everyone who came out in Rome, NY for great conversations.
From lowering costs to protecting rural healthcare, we'll achieve our day one priorities with the critical input of communities.
Many thanks to Michael Brown and David Amidon, owners of '3 Fellows Inn'. Top notch service!
Great to join dairy farmers from across the Northeast at the Dairy Benchmark hosted by Farm Credit East!
With Chobani investing in a new Rome plant, the North Country has a big opportunity — but we must be ready to meet demand. I’ll work with anyone to strengthen our farms and small businesses.
Join us!
Thank you to everyone who came out last night in Lowville for coffee and great conversation! No one knows how to solve problems in the North Country better than our community members.
In Washington, I'll fight to ensure your voices are heard and our families can thrive.
Rural broadband isn’t a luxury, it’s infrastructure. It means better access to education, telehealth, and economic opportunity.
I’m ready to go to Congress to get our communities the broadband access they need.
Thank you to the Argyle Democratic Committee and everyone who joined us yesterday! I truly enjoy answering your questions and appreciate your insights on solving problems here in the North Country.
I’ll keep traveling this district to listen to and learn from our communities.
Our campaign received nearly 5,000 signatures all across NY-21. I am so grateful for the support, energy, and momentum behind this campaign. Let's do this!
Thank you to our incredible volunteers across NY-21. I’m grateful for each of you braving the frigid temperatures, knocking on doors and collecting signatures.
We’re building a strong team that reflects the grit of the North Country. Together we’re going to DC to finally put our communities first.
This is a massive relief for North Country families who rely on Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and Carthage Hospital for their care.
With federal Medicaid cuts, rural communities like ours are hit the hardest.
In Congress, I'll work to reverse these cuts and protect our access to care.
If the government shuts down, members of Congress shouldn’t get paid.
Meanwhile, the hardworking Americans who keep our country running, like TSA agents, show up everyday to serve, and they deserve their paychecks on time.
It’s simple: put people over politics, and get to work.
It’s been a great winter here on the farm and across our district. With spring in the air, I’m looking forward to getting back out there - meeting with locals and listening to what matters most to you.
This campaign isn’t about division or party lines. It’s about people in our communities.
Americans deserve a government they can trust not enrich themselves and walk out every time they can’t deliver for the people.
In Congress, I’ll support banning stock trading for members, creating a five-day work week, and ensuring representatives live and work in the districts they serve.
No matter who I talk to, the hardworking folks in all 15 counties in this district are focused on the same core issues: lowering costs, securing the border, and protecting rural healthcare.
In Congress, I'll continue listening to my friends and neighbors to put their needs first.
