Anicira – Affordable Vet Care Anicira Veterinary Center is working to end animal suffering and unnecessary euthanasia by making veterinary care accessible and affordable.

HARRISONBURG, VA

Anicira will offer $20 spay/neuter surgeries for up to 200 family cats by appointment at its Harrisonburg and Manassas veterinary hospitals. Surgeries are available beginning Monday, March 30, through October 1, 2026, or until all grant funds are allocated.

6/7 Your donations will help us to continue providing access to life-saving medical assistance for community cats in need of immediate assistance, and our Community Cat Care package for cats who haven’t been spayed or neutered to prevent tiny kittens from being born outdoors.

5/7 Last year we had many, many, requests for cats in need of urgent medical assistance, and we saved many lives when our volunteers responded at all hours of the day and night to trap and transport sick or injured cats to urgent care and emergency vets all over northern Virginia.

4/7 We transport cats in traps as far away as Southern Maryland and Front Royal to TNR cats for large 30-cat spay days every month. The medical component of this program also helps injured or sick community cats who need immediate vet care.

3/7 The Community Cat Care package includes spay/neuter surgery,rabies & feline distemper vaccines, flea/tick/parasite treatment, microchip, left ear-tip, antibiotics & treatment for acute medical conditions as needed. We schedule spay days each month for 10-30 community cats at a time.
