After 5th AUC show1. At 1st I thought Suze be renamed because she was not a public figure, a gesture of protection. But in AUC she is a composite, to serve a theme: the conflict of Dylan's art & relationships. Suze claimed independence much earlier. It's good she's renamed!
After 5th AUC show2: First glance; the title is about the unknown that arrived in NYC. But he retains his shape shifting, mysteriousness, & veiled inner/creative life. Still unknown when the credits roll despite name recognition & record sales. A truism about Dylan & all of us?
Dylan released the song in April, with album released in June. Emma entered my Dylan hall of fame because she instantly realized she needed to do it and became THE first artist to cover it.
