It's fine not to design everything for Commander. The decline of standard is pretty easy to correlate with the rise of Commander-specific products.
My wife is a theatre director, and she also didn't like Into the Woods, and loved Wicked.
With things like politics that tend to be emotionally draining, reading individual articles on my own volition instead of subscribing gives me some agency to take a mental health break when I want instead of seeing the article in my inbox when I want to step away.
