Early Stormblood, a trio consisting of the adventurers Jill, Kira, and Poppy group around a tomestone. Kira: "Hey, check out this fancy trailer for the new expansion." (Circa 2021) They all watch with wonder. When Jill says "Are we going to the moon?" The journey commences! Kira points at an airship but the lalafell Poppy doesn't think that'll take them to the moon. "No way." It cuts to them clinging onto Shinryu and Poppy shouts "Take me to the moooon!!" On The First they debate Kira: "I mean, we're technically on a moon. If you think about it." Jill: "No! I refuse to accept substitutes!" They continue on their journey past a "NO MOON. TURN AROUND" sign and reach the fight with Lunar Bahamut. Rest on page two!

Finally in Garlemald, far closer to the moon than the heroes realize, Fandaniel flips them off and teleports away. (Lol bye nerds) Thancred: "Go on without us. We'll meet on the moon!" (It'll be fine!) Jill: "...Is it really that easy?" They arrive on the moon. It was, in fact, that easy. In the rest of the panels they finally get to enjoy the fruits of their labors. Seeing the moon sights, meeting the watcher, falling in love with the Lunatenders, and of course fighting Zodiark! (No one said the moon would be easy) The comic ends there, thank you for reading my silly saga!

My friend group saw the Endwalker trailer early in #ffxiv, (oops) so all throughout the storyline we would constantly joke "When are we going to the moon?" (For a more realistic interpretation repeat such moon-related phrases 70+ more times) #ffxivart
