#ECR is completely missing the pre-PhD people. I feel like everything that has ECRs as their target group is heavily dominated by PhD students and post-docs... Makes sense, they bring more experience and skills but come on, give opportunities to us master graduates [and maybe some money to survive]

Copenhagen does not disappoint. #Train2EGU

First train - cancelled... Damn it is tough to like travelling via train. Too many (pricey!) upsets. I am now taking the plane from Narvik to Købnhavn and will travel by train from there. At least SJ has a solid reimbursement scheme (looking at you DB pt.2)

Off to #EGU25 via train from Tromsø🚄 @egu-cr.bsky.social. First a 4 hour bus ride til Narvik and then onto the Nightjet to Stockholm. Fingers crossed for good connections in the next days (looking at you DB).

10 days in Longyearbyen & 1 day on Polar-6 to survey sea ice around the archipelago and fly a Sentinel-3 track with AWI.

Although there was not much snow on the sea ice, let's see what we can do to better understand radar interaction observed on different scales (drone - aircraft - satellite).

Hellooo Tromsø, looking forward to living here for the next five months! My research on drone-borne radar measurements of snow starts tomorrow. Excited!

Had a great week in Col du Lautaret in the French Alps learning a lot about snow in-situ measurements and GPR during the Université Grenoble Alpes snow field course. Made me appreciate how demanding and time consuming field measurements can be.

Couldn't agree more! I discovered his visuals when I had to give a presentation about Arctic Amplification in my fourth Bachelor semester. I was so glad to showcase the amazing graphs to the rest of the class...
