Def reccomend taking a look at the full report. It does align well with what you're saying.
Those who are doing platform engineering well, and understand it (committing to Platform as a Product etc) - are doing really well. Those who aren't... less so.
The worst part about this number? Only 26% of people who answered the survey said "I don't know if things have improved or gotten worse".
That means there is an 18% difference between those who are willing to admit they don't know measure anything, and those who say they aren't measuring...

It's no wonder why the DORA report shows some teams are reporting more instability and worse cognitive load from platform engineering...
