Not really for me personally, since it’s all part of the process. Worldbuilding is one area where the author’s most unique creativity shines since grammar and a lot of other craft follows similar rules regardless. But how to create a world with seven moons? Or write within contemporary settings?
I like to know how people came up with stuff—the worldbuilding, the characters. What inspired you? Why are you writing it? What’s the story behind the story? Any little details you really hope people notice or had to cut but love anyway.

SciFi I started with and liked as a kid was some random picks off shelves and I don’t remember titles sadly. pub’d 70-90’s. Soft, not hard.
