My church runs a food pantry once a month. Good thing for the community, for sure. Normal heavy Saturday is 50 families. This month we served 100 families. A good thing? For the families, yes. But, as a reflection on the economy, today?

I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 tbsp of *Italian* parsley. Makes six servings. When you're talking about that small amount of an ingredient, why does it matter that it's Italian or otherwise?

A "standard" is a very slippery thing. You've got to know this. If you say one kind of speech is OK and another isn't, you're going to have problems. The courts come up with a solution. It still has problems. There's never going to be a 100% solution that someone can't use to hurt another.
