It's disheartening how many illnesses that mostly impact women are inappropriately diagnosed and treated. I have fibromyalgia and burning mouth syndrome. Both impact women most frequently, often go misdiagnosed, ignored, and untreated, and both are associated with trauma and abuse.

My high school English teacher, the woman who was the driving force behind me starting to write, and wanting to continue, has followed my writing account on IG. Little does she know my current WIP—when in print—will be dedicated to her. 🥹
