it's been a while since i've gotten into a true flow for a complex track, and all of the millions of little decisions coming together to create something unique is…bizarre
and that process is cool and all but...it's also difficult and exhausting and relentless for me, and it's weird to accept that

it was also funny doing this with 6 other friends who haven’t done this either, and collectively freaking out if there are enough paint coats for each color
went to my first ceramic painting session and it was suuuuper fun
though i will say, as a non-painter, it’s a Lot of pressure to get the shapes juuust right haha

The Mother series really hits emotional tenors that a bunch of other RPGs are missing. Like, look at what they were aiming for in the famicom era— they were butting up against stark limitations and still cooked.
