This is an IDF soldier in Lebanon smashing a Jesus statue with a sledgehammer. It's obviously unacceptable but what gets me is the outrage this elicits when the political class never cared about the destruction of Mosques in Gaza. It takes their religious symbols being destroyed for them to care.

A vertical screen print style poster in red, yellow and black, featuring the quote by Dom Helder Camara: "When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a communist." The edges of the poster show a packed village with small houses, and a road leading to skyscrapers in the far background. A red sun in the upper right shines its long yellow rays across the image.

Originally made as a screen print in 1990, we now offer this thought-provoking poster digitally printed on heavy cover stock.

This is nice and all to see in the papers. Doing it anonymously is kinda weak. Say it with your whole chest. Drive the point home.

Israel escalates attacks on medics in Lebanon with deadly ‘quadruple tap’ Lebanese health ministry says killing of 91 healthcare workers shows ‘total disregard’ for international law

The Israeli army struck civilians in the Lebanese city of Mayfadoun.

And then, the Israelis double-tapped the medics who arrived onto the scene.

And then, they triple-tapped the next wave of medics.

And then, they did it one more time for good measure.

This is the inevitable endpoint of one of the truly unifying political projects of the 2010s: ensuring that comically bigoted far right crackpots should decide what is and is not racist, a thing almost the entire political/class bent their will towards.

bluesky doesnt let you ever delete your posts properly so the CIA (or whatever weird version of it exists) can probably fit you up & get you executed as a communist retrospectively in the future, it also won't let you lock your account against stalkers and look what liberals on here did to shah

I wonder how the RETVRN dipshits feel about that.

They really need to learn that paying taxes is the happy outcome for them.

No, really, everyone loves it when the leader of the government finds a technical reason why actually it's some relatively powerless nobody who is responsible for a decision the actual bloody Prime Minister made

I loathe Mauro. At least Mike will say something kinda funny once in a while. Ranallo doesn't have the decency to be knowledgeable or funny to go along with corny catchphrases

I kinda liked him. I think he generally does (did) a good job at mixing the enthusiasm with actually saying something about what happened in the ring/cage. I think like most people who have catchphrases, he just got hooked on them and leaned on the old saws instead of being good.

Today, a lot of people will be talking about the manifesto that Palantir released. In addition to pouring over what those words mean, I invite you to ground the conversation in what Palantir has already done.

Its work with Israel and ICE show us exactly what it stands for.

Palantir put out the most cartoonishly evil statement possible. They’re so arrogant and self-confident they don’t seem to believe their fascistic plans can be opposed.

We must get rid of Palantir altogether.

If Dems retake either house, they must launch an investigation into this.

There's no easier way to highlight the corruption of this era and to establish that Dems are committed to fighting it.

Pretty sure @wyden.senate.gov and Maxine Waters would be the chairs to do it.

Josh Rogin: “Somebody shorted the oil market today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement-

If you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that's happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began – that's a pattern"

Screenshotting this because I want the original in, not as some kinda dunk. I have zero faith they do anything. They let Trump off scot free. They've shown zero desire to actually punish the villains.

They had a majority in 2021. What's different now?
