Here’s a FB memory from a whole nother era.
We expected 2,000 people out in GOP-held Greeley, Colorado.
11,000 people showed up.
Something special is happening, folks. Now is the time to organize in every dimension possible and get to work.
Trump is angrier than usual. He just ranted that Schumer is "Palestinian," raged at Canada over tariffs and snapped at 3 reporters.
On the pod, @amandamarcotte.bsky.social is good on how tanking markets/sliding polls are rattling his faith in his bullshitting powers:

"By rejecting passivity, Sanders is also doing more to actually put Republicans—who’ve recently been ordered to abandon town halls in the wake of mounting anger from their own voters—under pressure."
Rest In Peace

This is really smart by @sanders.senate.gov Go to republican districts and push voters to pressure their republican reps.

I only rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl because they were the underdog.
Now that they're declining the WH trip that comes with winning, I might root for them more...
SING SING by the team behind JOCKEY- Clint Bentley and Greg Kwedar and with amazing performances by Colman Domingo and Clarence Maclin, is a powerful film- shot in 18 days with unstoppable faith and truth- please see it, if you can

Republicans want to slash Medicaid — a death sentence for thousands of Americans. Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers.
We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.
Yes! Swim 🏊 no matter what.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries unveiled a 10-part plan for House Democrats' efforts to counter many of President Trump's moves to upend the federal bureaucracy.
SCOOP: Senate Democrats are privately eyeing delays on all Trump nominees as retaliation for his restructuring of USAID, Axios has learned.
On the back porch. Mid-winter light.
I want to talk for a moment about one thing Trump’s done that hasn’t gotten enough attention.
He signed an executive order that will make it more dangerous for women—in states where abortion is legal—to walk safely from their cars to the front door of an abortion clinic.
NOW would be a great time to have a VERY PUBLIC and VERY LOUD response from Congressional Democrats on Elon Musk's unchecked takeover of our federal government...
one day when this is all over — and it will be — i will personally never forget the people, famous or otherwise, who jumped on board with fascism because it was the easier thing to do at the time
An ersatz Campbell Soup can bearing the words: "FOX NEWS CHANNEL, condensed Cream of Bullshit (made with 100% fake news) Soup." Seriously, Fox News is propaganda, made to benefit the Billionaire class. Don't consume the brainwashing, y'all.
The purge of experienced FBI agents makes America less safe. My comments on @TheBeatwithAriMelber:www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-ari/watch/...
i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country
Trump doesn't care if the economy crashes and communities suffer. His goal is to force you and your family to accept a lower standard of living while he and his friends get richer. Cutting support for law enforcement, schools, small businesses and firefighters is chaos by design.
Dems take note "The broad backlash to Trump’s plan, the first example that the president isn’t invincible in pushing through his broad agenda, offered a potential preview of the level of blowback Republicans could face if they pursue deep spending cuts to fund the president’s sweeping policy agenda"
Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.
Opportunities are everywhere.
Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉
We are 8 days into Trump’s chaos, but there are some absolute bright spots: outspoken, forceful, determined leaders, who will never cower to Donald. If we want to beat Trump and maga, these are the types of champions we’ll need to rally behind.
