Momo!!! Not Mimi... stupid autocorrect makes me feel like a loonatic.

Mimi's coming out party. Late substitution nets his first goal. Timbers fall, but the giant tree of a Dieng stands tall.
Overall great time. Tried to flag him over to ask for a few words but I'm sure we looked like Rovers fans in our new jerseys.
The ball went through both hands and landed in the box for as easy a tap in as there could be. Not a great moment. He did make one really good save, most of the routine saves, and didn't have that deer in the headlights look he had on the Loons first team. He's a giant in person.
Would have asked if I could interview him for you.
Tried to flag him over, and wished the boys were in their loons jerseys instead of our new rovers jerseys. Great fun to go to a match in Ireland. Shelbourne away fans louder than our Wonderwall, and it had more foul language even than the F Seattle chants.
Full time... Rovers beat Speel's Shelbourne 3-2. Speel made the routine saves, and looked confident off the ball in directing the defense. From the other end of the pitch the third goal against looked pretty rough. He attempted to use his height to grab a ball from a cross (or maybe a corner?)
Halftime report: Rovers 2 Shels 1. Speel don't have much of a chance on either goal. First always smart piece with an unmarked Markani... reminiscent of that anyway. 2nd was a bad give away from a defender in his own box. The shot went through Speel's legs as he tried to make himself big.
@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social Coachella correspondent reporting for duty at the Shamrock Rovers v Shelbourne game in Dublin. Mn United loanee in net for Shelbourne.
You're forgetting about the Minnesota State Broomball Championships today at Augsburg arena!
How about something like... so bad as to not even be acknowledged in your ranking?
I love your rankings... my comment was more a reflection of my extreme disappointment yesterday. I'm not terribly negative about this team, but wow were they bad yesterday, with many not even meeting a standard of "woof"
@brucedunord.bsky.social I think you need a category lower than woof this week
James makes an appearance and gets a goal contribution in loons loss.
@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social tried listening one of the new pods on our favorite team. I'm sure they have their own appeal, but your middle-aged soccer dad vibe is my jam!
Excited!!
I thought he was man of the match
Just ๐ฅถ
I know it's not the most popular kit, but I think the convergence shirt looks the best with the loon.
@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social - thanks for the stickers and $2 for the swear jar. Ian opened it before I got home from work and was incredibly excited to show it to me when I got home.
James, James, James, doesn't play. Christian rumors. Rosales marks Markanich on corners. Loons score 1 (Bongi) in a tough loss, and don't look good.
If it can be Palm Springs in February I'm in!
@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social day 3 at Coachella... no soccer, just nature -- Palm Spring Aerial Tramway to San Jacinto State Park... from desert to pines at 8250 feet. Home tonight... would do this again in a heartbeat. Spouse not excited to come back for Valentine's Day.
Was paranoid with my anti-ice comments... but it's probably too late for that... you know... defending the constitution can be controversial.
Listened to the pod.... great work as always... I am the same Jamie ad Ian's dad -- we never did receive this stickers btw. Just visiting Coachella... live in STP. I love Minnesota, including the winter, and I always takes breaks from it.
I like the concept. Maybe not the execution.
Finally, the desert surrounded by Mountains in beautiful in February. Wish I was staying through the next two games! Definitely worth it to see some soccer and get away for a bit.
Also, someone who might have been Khaled overheard talking with fans about James... that he's here... not sure what here means. Coachella? U.S.? Wearing my Minnesota gear had many fans from socal expressing excitement for James.
@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social Coachella day 2... "once a loon" report. Robin Lod was looking good with the Fire. Wil Trapp just a fan today, supporting his buddy on the Fire and sitting with Robin's wife and kids. She was overheard saying it was a tough decision, and something about soccer priority.
Just as bad.
