I feel like younger generations are just /expected to know/ how to behave or interact with fan media, but behavior and learned... getting mad at them when they go around being disrespectful is not helpful and just creating more conflict in environment that is consistently growing more hostile

These days the most people do is content warnings, which is great to communicate to the reader! But why did we drop some of the other labels to communicate HOW people should interact with the fan media they consume?

Like back in the day with fanfics, authors would literally put disclaimers on their fanfics, or state things like "no flames" when they didn't want criticism and "R&R" when they WERE asking...

seeing discussion about how younger gen in fandom have no etiquette and I'm sitting here like ya and back in the day i feel like etiquette rules were a LOT clearer??

got the 13" and the slight increase of space feels SOOO nice

I went and splurged on a new ipad pro 8w8;;;; with the ram shortage and apple losing its priority status with its chip provider and prices of electronics devices getting higher and more difficult to acquire... I thought i'd nab one in case the price got outrageous and difficult to find

☠️☠️☠️ The only reason I gassed myself up to finally do it is cause my mobo warranty ends next month and if the issue was caused by a defect, at least it could have gotten it covered but i guess I'm glad I now don't have to deal with customer service 🤪

Was kinda productive today!!! Fixed pc mobo issue with back USB ports not working!

But i've been mad at myself cause its been 6 months since the issue first presented and ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS UPDATE THE BIOS!! Which took me only 5 min to do!!!! I put it off because I was scared I'd mess it up!!!
