The Netherlands just launched a platform in the middle of the North Sea that converts wind electricity into green hydrogen fuel without the electricity ever touching land.
The NortH2 offshore hydrogen platform sits 200 kilometers off the Dutch coast, directly connected by underwater power cables.

Oregonians! There is a land grab going on to hand over prime farmland to data centers and semiconductors, despite the AI bubble. Shady speculators are set to make a fortune, last minute hearing scheduled. Sign up to testify or submit testimony here olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2026R1/M...

Same same 🫣
No we don’t. 🙅🏽♂️
We want ICE abolished!
Btw, Palantir is one of the largest contractually rewarded surveillance tech companies providing ICE with surveillance tech that they use to track down & kidnap immigrants.
Chuck Schumer also receives bribes as campaign donations from Palantir lobbyists. 👇🏾
Been feeling that for a good minute now 😓
OpenAl is considering taking a cut of Al-aided discoveries made by its customers
The Rundown AI: Sarah Friar, OpenAl's Chief Financial Officer, has publicly discussed that OpenAl is exploring new revenue models that go beyond subscriptions and usage fees. She said the company expects "new economic models" to emerge as Al is used in areas like scientific research and drug discovery. Friar noted that approaches such as licensing, IP-based agreements, or outcome-based pricing could let OpenAl participate in downstream value rather than relying solely on usage fees.
You gotta be kidding me 🤦🏽♂️
So OpenAI gets to commit IP theft, scraping and exploiting everyone’s intellectual property, only to turn around and sell a regurgitated version back to people, and now they expect to be “compensated” for “their” IP from people using ChatGPT to make advanced discoveries? 🥴

The seven Democrats who voted in favor of the homeland security spending measure were: Representatives Don Davis of North Carolina, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Laura Gillen of New York, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington, Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine and Tom Suozzi of New York.
I’m genuinely curious: What would ICE need to do for these Democrats to not vote for its unprecedented 300% budget increase? Also interesting: will Ezra Klein say anything publicly after celebrating several of these people despite their authoritarian records?
Pouring more money into DHS while it operates with impunity and a blatant disregard for human life is unconscionable.
You don’t fix abuse by funding it. You stop it by cutting off its funding and dismantling the institution that’s terrorizing communities.

The only thing that matters today, is honoring one of the greatest orators in human history; a radical revolutionary, human & civil rights advocate, and class solidarity & pro-labor activist, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Unfortunately. And not by much.
It’d be amazing if, say, PBS acquired it, or it automatically fell into a public fund owned by all U.S. taxpayers that received residual revenue from it, like UBI. And considering Netflix is a global brand, that would be a nice ROI, like $200/per taxpayer, annually.
I will say, I prefer it over Paramount acquiring it (which is now owned by David Ellison, son of Larry Ellison, who owns & co-founded Oracle, the surveillance tech company that genocidal regimes & law enforcement agencies utilize to violate human & civil rights).
Netflix is still trash though.
Who isn’t acknowledging that?
You inferred it’s not an issue.
No one asked you to apologize for that. 🤨
But by not acknowledging colorism is a thing, you’re deliberately ignoring a whole other layer of bigotry, and the privilege that comes with being light skinned. And I say that as someone who’s light skinned. Yes, we’re black, but we’re treated differently.

The closest I could find that fit the look of the photo was a Candelabra LED Light Bulb E12, but it might be any of those options in the screenshot, not just the E12.
Maybe if you had framed your response like this, and not the way you did, you wouldn’t have gotten dragged as bad as you did.
Agreed, colorism is awful. But it’s also important to acknowledge that it favors light-skinned folks.
Agree or disagree?
Starkiller! 💪🏽
Looks sick, man!

Who is doing counter-recruitment organizing for ICE? As the economy worsens, those jobs and the loan forgiveness offer will become more attractive to unpoliticized individuals. There needs to be a clear social cost for even considering joining those ranks.
So Penske is allowing ICE to use its trucks to conduct raids and kidnap people off the streets. People, you know what to do. #boycottPenske #FuckICE #fucktrump
⚠️ CtoA: Help Cottonwood School Stay Open!
The Cottonwood School of Civics & Science is a K-8 school located next to the Lindquist-owned ICE building, on Macadam.
They’re faced with a very difficult decision; either move to a Lindquist property, or shut down.
Those aren’t viable options…
Personally, I’d just LOVE some acknowledgment and investigation into those 66 bomb threats on Election Day. Even that ONE thing please. ANYTHING.
