L.A. Protests Prompt Calls for Police Restraint After Journalist Injuries

Amazing how hard it is to write: “Police shoot at journalists.”

Masks are important at protests for protecting everyone’s health! Also it’s not nefarious to hide your face from a fascist regime that’s also hiding theirs anyway while they commit crimes against humanity!

Not surprised that a police officer would say that, but am very disheartened that the news outlet chose to include that and highlight it. I commented on their post pushing back on that mindset. We’ll see if they respond. So infuriating.
