This session is very beginner friendly, so don’t worry if you’ve never made a character before - we will be happy to help! Or, if you’re already a veteran in the game, come along and help others!

This will be focusing primarily on D&D, but may include Lancer, The Black Hack, Pathfinder, and Monster of the Week.

A banner resembling the character name on a Dungeons and Dragons character sheet, with a dragon around it. In it, there is text saying "CHARACTER CREATION".

Underneath are three boxes - one box resembles a shield (representing "Armour Class") and has the date of the workshop, 1st October. Another two boxes have jagged corners and borders (with similar styling to "Initiative" and "Speed"). In these it says "7-10PM", and "Windsor 1-02, 1-03, and 1-05" which are the rooms in which the workshop will take place.

Game coordinators are people in charge of running and scheduling some of the smaller society events, that are often more tailored towards specific communities, i.e. long-form, fighter, wargames, and TCG games!

Will is the face of our society, dictating his committee (giving us tasks that we consent to) and ruling over his nation (running our society). He will make our kingdom prosperous (hopefully). So any gamesoc nemeses beware!!!!

"What is your committee role?"
As President, I'm going to be overseeing everything that goes on in the society, ensuring every part of the society has a GameSoc feel. I will also be leading the committee in planning one off events outside the regular weekly schedule

"Favourite thing about Gamesoc?"
The consistent sense of continuity between all parts of GameSoc. If you're a regular smash player and decide to turn up to Board Games Monday, you'll see people you recognise. It builds a strong sense of community across the society that can create strong friendships to last through and after university.
