Do you struggle to get to Gamesoc? Perhaps it's too late and difficult to access? Have I got a treat for you!
We will be hosting an event in collaboration with the SU for Disability History Month. We will bring board games and video games from 2-4 in the main hall of the SU. Come along and hang out!

This session is very beginner friendly, so don’t worry if you’ve never made a character before - we will be happy to help! Or, if you’re already a veteran in the game, come along and help others!

This will be focusing primarily on D&D, but may include Lancer, The Black Hack, Pathfinder, and Monster of the Week.

Game coordinators are people in charge of running and scheduling some of the smaller society events, that are often more tailored towards specific communities, i.e. long-form, fighter, wargames, and TCG games!

Hello people of Gamesoc! After finishing up our meet the committee announcement post we wanted to show off some of the other faces that will be around the society helping run your favourite activities.

Will is the face of our society, dictating his committee (giving us tasks that we consent to) and ruling over his nation (running our society). He will make our kingdom prosperous (hopefully). So any gamesoc nemeses beware!!!!

As President, I'm going to be overseeing everything that goes on in the society, ensuring every part of the society has a GameSoc feel. I will also be leading the committee in planning one off events outside the regular weekly schedule "Favourite thing about Gamesoc?" The consistent sense of continuity between all parts of GameSoc. If you're a regular smash player and decide to turn up to Board Games Monday, you'll see people you recognise. It builds a strong sense of community across the society that can create strong friendships to last through and after university.

I also make sure that the committee is on track to provide you with a wonderful experience throughout the year (smiley face) "Favourite thing about Gamesoc?" Being able to meet new people and collectively engage in a shared passion. I love talking and listening about games (of all kinds) and gamesoc lets me do that. Gamesoc is my second home.

This is where we start shilling our memberships, the social membership is FREE, and the paid membership is only £5, it gives you priority to some of our more popular events and it allows us to buy tickets and things for our community!
