Especially in love with these ones. Nice to finally be able to a couple of hours of pottering after work.

Oh that is absolutely brilliant! Made up for you x

Nothing has replicated my experience of many many conversations with many many men at many many parties/pubs better than the most recent Adam Buxton podcast.

Actually think I may have suffered PTSD listening to it.

Was a v good radio version too. It’s such a great adaptable book.

I get that completely. For me, a habit of NY day that I sort of enjoy, but it’s definitely a confection that needs a bit of salt in it.

It’s so, so bad, completely agree. Why would you want dance music you can’t dance to? And there’s literally centuries of music to listen to with an orchestra, why stick to something from 30 years ago you knew when you were younger. I find it unfathomable.

And don’t get me started on those orchestral dance crossovers. Gosh, they really are awful.

Mind you, can’t be worse than the Northern Soul ones which asks the question: what if this music, but with all the soul and excitement removed and not be able to dance to it?

Bond at the Proms? How original and fascinating.

I know these pop Proms sell and I’m in a minority, but it’s so uninteresting*. You could put this concert on in any theatre in any town.

*appreciate I’m biased because find Bond deeply tedious

Ah, I guess. I’d prefer kids didn’t do homework on lunch break tbh. Should be hanging about with pals or doing something that pleases them, but take your point.

I find it a bizarre argument. People are allowed to do lots of things outside classroom and school you can’t do in it, so why is this such a hurdle? (though do understand that it’s a bit of a weird flex to tell kids to get off phones and then put everything on apps, but…)

Unfuckingbelievable. Post one with your middle finger firmly in front of the camera instead.

"but surely you want us to do well in Europe at least."

Absolutely fucking not, you lunatics.

May pin this, as it will be useful most days on here.

The “all tech is now bad” brain on here is as disturbing as the “AI is my overlord” brain.

All taxonomy, isn’t it?

Big fan of the spelling reform position. Melvil Dui rather than Melville Dewey. Splendid nonsense of which I wholeheartedly approve.

Yes, I’m separating the agitator from the agitation.

Absolutely howling at the responses.

Not sure if they are doing any other Sinatra in pipeline but I'll be there, even though we have a few on vinyl from my Granddad's beautiful collection.

The Tone Poet stuff is done so well. The Sinatras sound fab.
