PRINCIPAL As we close out another term at Oberursel International School... I would like us to take a moment to thank everyone who made this wonderful year possible. PANEL 2 Ollie's slumped in her seat. PRINCIPAL Let's give them all a round of applause! Your teachers... SFX clap clap clap clap PANEL 3 Ollie glances to one side. The principal's text is fading to gray. PRINCIPAL Our incredible custodians... The library staff... PANEL 4 All of your guardians who have volunteered their time... SFX clap clap clap clap PANEL 5 Ollie's eyes narrow in recognition/drama. PANEL 6 Imaginary addition to Ollie's POV: a creepy soul-stealer is sucking the energy from one of the kids from the previous shot. NARRATION ...The perfect time for soul-stealers to strike!!

PANEL 1 A stylistic shift as Ollie imagines herself in this scene. Somewhat close on Ollie as she clutches a hand to her chest in indecision. NARRATION I don't want to reveal myself here... But if I don't, these people will die!! Ollie visualizes herself leaping from her seat and throwing her hand forward in a magical blast, interrupting the soul stealer. OLLIE (IMAGINARY) Twinkling -- terra -- strike!! SOUL STEALER What?! PANEL 3 Ollie confronts the soul stealer. OLLIE (IMAGINARY) How dare you tarnish the last day of school! I won't let you steal these children's summers! SOUL STEALER: Bold words, human. PANEL 4 Several other soul stealers rise from the seats around Ollie. The real world starts to intrude again. SOUL STEALER (imaginary) We will enjoy taking your soul. PRINCIPAL (real) --choir performance. PANEL 5 Ollie jerks out of the sequence, looking around at everyone as they clap. PRINCIPAL Please join me in welcoming them to the stage. SFX clap clap clap clap NARRATION Wait! PANEL 6 Ollie races down to the stage, surprising everyone. NARRATION I'm in choir!!
