17 - Minishoot Adventures
This is my second time through the game since it was my GOTY in 2024.
This time I went for the final achievements and once again fell in love with it! One of my all time favourite games already!
I hope when my kid is old enough to know what this “game” is, it no longer exists

Sure there’s football pools, keeper leagues, baseball pools…but me and a group of 13 other friends and frenemies have been doing a hockey pool for 16 years.

I already loved Minishoot Adventures when I played it two years ago, but picking it up again for the first time since, I’m convinced it will be an all-timer comfort food for me!

16 - Super Mario Galaxy
I didn't get around to playing much of this back in the day, but I'm at 110 stars and it's been a real great experience!
Creative in all the best ways... except for the motion controls. Even on Switch 2. If it didn't have that, this would be a top 3-5 Mario game for me.
The famous Andor line is that "tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle." Here is a perfect example of that through malicious compliance: Idaho forced the city of Boise to remove its Pride flags. So the city painted rainbows everywhere else.

No choices in the game, and every Sunday some guy kept spoiling the story for me. Would not recommend.
