There's rumblings of discontent over here about the prices charity shops are charging. They're raising money for good causes for sure, but the days of finding anything for a few quid seem long gone & some people say they're being ripped off.

In that case I can only admire his dedication & commitment.

Depends where you drink & what you're drinking, but 7GBP/9.5USD/13CAD is not unusual for a fairly average pint of lager here now. You can get cheaper too, but go somewhere a bit fancy & you may not get much change out of £10.

Might have told this before. At work meeting & colleague announced she had to deal with a raccoon in her attic when she got home (VA,USA). All the Brits at the table started making cutesy raccoon paws & cooing. Marla put us all straight re damage & showed no intention of mercy. Poor raccoon. 🦝🌈
