One person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress beforehand, or our allies, or coherently explain to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop this and refuses to act.

Big Oil and the plastics industry are spending billions to make sure everyone else uses more.

This tariff ruling is causing considerable confusion.
But one thing is clear. 100% of any tariff refunds will be paid to corporations that passed on increased costs to consumers. We paid the tariffs. They will get the refund. Prices won't come back down. The people will get screwed yet again.
In most democracies Trump’s reckless and wild abuse of power through his tariffs would cause the government to fall or the leader to be removed.
The imposition of these tariffs against the will of Congress, the courts, our allies, and the American people.
It’s clear grounds for removal.
