Maryam Kiani is a visionary electronic music producer/sound designer and multidisciplinary artist based in Iran. She combines intricate sampling techniques with synthesized melodies to craft immersive sonic landscapes.
Each track captures a distinct aspect of how our brains adapt and evolve, from the raw, digital pulse of "8 Bit Machine," to the introspective reflections in "Persona," to the emotional core of "The Amygdala."
Inspired by Carl Jung’s concept of individuation—the process by which a person integrates the unconscious into conscious awareness—the album reflects the evolution of the self and the power of transformation.
The New Normal explores the transformative journey of the human mind, delving into the process of creating new neural pathways and reshaping our perception of reality.
