That's home. That's us.
This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.
Taken after their translunar injection burn, there are aurorae at top right and lower left, and zodiacal light at lower right.

My phone's wifi-scanning for location caused my tracked running route to zigzag down every road.
Welp, I forgot to shut off my phone's wifi-scanning for more "accurate" location detection before my run. It ended up tacking on an extra 1/2 mile to my actual distance.

Had a nice view for my run this evening.
The dogs are making the best of this blizzard in central NJ.
Snow starting to pile up.
A few hours in. Coming down pretty good.
So it begins...
I ended up in NJ on what's looking to become a very interesting weekend.
I, for one, welcome our new interdimsensional overlords.
We hit 80ยฐF. Roughly two weeks ago I had 7" of snow in my yard. ๐
Watch as a massive crack forms in the ice on Lake Erie.
An impressive view captured by GOES-19 earlier on Sunday.
Never mind the jobs you had; tell me five classes you took in college:
Outside of the classes I took for my Meteorology & Astronomy degrees, here are my favorite electives:
GarageBand ๐ธ
Art Of Theater ๐ญ
Intro To Acting ๐ฌ
History of Jazz ๐ถ
Elementary Psychology ๐ง
Midnight Sunday: Oh No!
11pm. Keeps drinks nice and cold at this depth.
~8pm update.
Quickly turning over to snow but still some sleet mixed in. Tulip glass measuring only a trace so far.
So it begins...
Sleet starting to come down nicely.
Bring it.
Welp, the mild winter was nice while it lasted.

Just found out that my city is doing trick or treating tonight instead of tomorrow... Glad I'm already stocked up. I think that's twice now since I've lived here that they didn't do it on Halloween.
Alrighty, ready to see something really cool? (and maybe a little nauseating)
The evolution of Hurricane Melissa's mesovortices at peak strength.
The monster eye at the center of a still strengthening Hurricane Melissa.
From a crewmember on yesterday's Teal 74 mission into now-Category 5 Hurricane #Melissa. As clear of an eye as you will see in the Atlantic basin.
I've missed these cold mornings so much.
The good news is once the front moves through, the wind will blow all your stuff right back to your house! #okwx #okmesonet
