Based on how they’ve done chopper, the unluckies, laboon and even the dinos, they should be able to pull off Karoo. My guess is they’re reserving him for season 3’s alabasta arc exclusively.

Conclusion: It’s most likely going to be a better-looking mixed bag than season one.

Cons: However the scenes don’t move too fast that I missed the erasure of key characters moments (or character moments period). And I already know they’re going to commit a lot of “borrow from Peter to pay Paul” crimes in terms of plot and character definition/progression.

Pros: The trailer is well made, with hype and earnest moments hinted at. I appreciate the visual faithfulness of character designs for some new folks. I’m even interested in how they’ve shortcut some of the events to keep the episodic timeline.
