I was introduced to this via Portastatic’s cover version, which features a ripping solo from Ira Kaplan iirc

Autumn Trash, by Jutland Songs 5 track album

With all the Spotify discourse, it made me think of our EP which isn’t on streaming; I have no idea if there are any physical copies of this left but have a look and a listen, why not? Not too late for this to become a contender for yr EOTY list 🤪

Good stuff! It’s gotten crazy expensive (oh, I wonder why) - went to preorder the Hyper Enough mug and it was $100 for shipping, so had to pass; nothing funny about that 🫠

This will be the only gig I play this year, so I’ve made sure it’s going to be a doozy & booked a bill that I can’t quite believe, it’s so good. Mark yr calendar! Tell yr pals!

I fucking love Das Damen. Only band I ever got into via a live album

He just made a comment about our support that was poor, even by his standards

Thanks, pal! I simply love to dissect the past and I should STOP

Also, going back to the original question but attempting not to be too self indulgent, I think Eska leant too hard into instrumentals latterly, and for my songs at least, I should’ve tried harder to write vocals

A song that should have been quietly abandoned a long time ago

Genuinely think it lends a different colour to this record but it might just be all in my head

Sorry to stick an oar in, but I just discovered some legend put up our last record up online recently. Haven’t heard it in an age. Guitar nerd note: I used 13 gauge flatwounds on my LP Special for this recording session despite never using them before or since
