Predicting RNA activity expands therapeutic possibilities With AI, it's now possible for researchers to predict the three-dimensional structures of proteins directly from their amino-acid sequences.

Biophysical models now enable accurate prediction of small RNA activity from sequence, offering new insights into gene regulation and potential pathways for RNA-targeted drug development. doi.org/hbtc8x

Working with my amazing lab mate Dr. Ainan Geng, we used NMR combined with binding & cellular measurements to show that conformational ensembles provide the energetic link to go from RNA sequence to cellular activity using existing RNA secondary structure prediction tools.
