It's only worth going back to the Moon if it makes us look properly again at Earth, and appreciate how beautiful, precious and fragile what we have here is. The most famous images from Apollo aren't about the Moon - they're pictures of Earth. We need to stop taking our home for granted.

Comparison photographs of winter mornings at 8am local Standard Time (with sunlit skies) versus 8am local Daylight Saving Time (with dark skies) from six locations in three time zones across the United States. Americans currently experience only the top row of photos during winter. Proposals for permanent DST (also called “Sunshine Protection”) would force most Americans to experience the bottom row of photos instead.
Standard Time keeps mornings naturally sunlit, for health and safety. Permanent Daylight Saving Time would force us to wake hours before sunrise, to start work/school in cold darkness. Tell lawmakers to ditch DST with permanent Standard Time! 🔗👇
