Watercolour of bait diggers in St Ives, #Cornwall. St Ives has been there since at least the 5th Century and was named after an Irish saint. For the most part it has plied its trade through fishing though has also been a bit of a hotspot for artists ever since Turner took a trip down there in 1811.
#Fish painting! Its getting the sheen that is the tricky bit.

This is the #Whitechapel Road in East #London. I have painted this scene several times and I am still drawn to it. A street like this will at first site appear static, unchanging. Though on closer observation you notice it is in constant flux.

I popped into the Affordable Art Fair in #Battersea, #London to see a spot of #art. it was after a long night so I had to take it a bit easy. Once done i visited Battersea park to paint the pagoda. Most enjoyable.

I really enjoyed painting this picture of Chipping Campden in the #Cotswolds. Famous for its elegant High Street lined with honey-coloured limestone buildings. Here is St James Church.

A place of worship on the site since the 5th century although almost all what we see today was built in the 15th century. The last resting place of the great English poet Sir John Betjemin.

I popped over to paint #Godney on the #Somerset Levels on a bleak winter’s morning. And there are plenty of them about right now. And eerie place with miles of flat marshland.

Went to work on a couple of jobs in London, though rain stopped play. And there was an elephant in the street!
I painted this in #Shoreditch #London a while ago. I really liked the brick wall and the taxi rank. A fella stopped and stared art me for ages. I don’t know why, but I added him anyway.
