Agree with @jdportes.bsky.social . unfair to characterise Streeting this way. As a board member of the @nhs-rho.bsky.social funded by the Department of Health, I know Streeting has been v supportive of our work (apart from other initiatives to deal with ethnic health inequalities (eg 10 yr NHS Plan)

3. And related to 2., generally private providers should charge average NHS cost for procedures. Not always true, but suggests lower costs significant reason for profits, not high charges?….
