Wonder if they'll make more money off the Call of Duty sales compared to the revenue earned from game pass subs to play it. I guess it really depends on sub retention. And the other question of if the price decrease lures in more customers or not.

It's practically verbatim every hearing.
Certain Crimson Desert things that I find to be really easy end up having people online trying to set up cheats to cope haha. I found countless Reddit threads of people struggling with horse taming, and I have no idea why. Fishing seems to be a tough spot too, for some reason. Maybe there's a bug?
Fwiw, this isn't connected to editorial/creating content. I have a feeling this is more for advertising.
I don't know why I bother to verify the many dumb things that come from Trump's administration. They never cease to impress with how stupid they consistently are.
The people pushing the idea that reviewers or reporters are bad at games don't have the critical thinking skills to look beyond the rage bait content creator who monetizes that idea. They still think the reporter in that Cuphead gameplay reviewed it.
Crimson Desert screenshot of Kliff holding his sword while looking at a large enemy in metal plating with a fish helmet. It's also raining.
Crimson Desert screenshot of a large bandit boss about to slam a shield down onto Kliff.

Might become one of those people who post photo mode screenshots from games. I've got a ton for Crimson Desert since I'm still buried in work on that one.
Always love to see the promotion of ragebait YouTubers who whine about everything and harass game journos.
obligatory spaaaaaace
Kind of funny to see people who aren't familiar with the boomer shooter naming take offense to seeing a game called that. Another moment of realizing not everyone is always online haha
Cloudy day showing a narrow wooden bridge crossing a pond.
Picture of someone with a glove holding a white garbage bag and a black grabber.
Picture of a pond surrounded by trees and a couple of ducks in the distance.
Didn't really sleep since I'm on a bad internal clock right now, but I knocked out four miles and picked up garbage along the way. Got a couple of thank yous too
Relatable
Business model: What is the business model? Last Flag is a one-time purchase. We’ll be offering a base game and a supporter edition. Are there microtransactions? No. When we launch the game, it will be a one-time purchase. Will there be DLC, season passes, or expansions? This first year after Last Flag launches we are planning to release patches regularly that bring new content to the game, including: maps, contestants, cosmetic items, gameplay systems, and more. The content coming in those patches throughout 2026 is all part of what you buy up front in the base game. Cosmetics: Can players earn cosmetic items in-game? Yes, absolutely. Currently, you can earn contestant skins, finishers, celebrations, dances, and player icons.
I guess it's just the latest thing to complain about, but is it that absurd to consider Last Flag a live service game? They're supporting it long-term with updates. I'm more curious about their FAQ that is worded just right to leave it open to microtransactions or paid content later.
Seeing the Metro 2039 announcement reminds me I should really check out those games again. I think I've only played a few hours of Metro 2033, but I have Last Light and Redux. Hoping to find time soon for STALKER 2 as well, since I picked that up over the holidays.
Man's been training all along
I recently corrected a Reddit comment that accused sites of using genAI to make up something. But it was just a skill that changed over the patches. Good times. At least the changes have been good.
Yeah, I wish the side quests were more than A to B or fetch quests. They're not all like that, but most are. As someone doing guides for every Hernand & Greymane side quest, they're extremely repetitive haha
A pleasant conversation between a low intelligence Chosen One and Torr in Fallout 2
My favourite detail about Fallout 2 is that if you're playing as a low intelligence character, you'll have moments like these where you and other equally dumb characters can have a normal conversation
Finally got around to and finished The Sopranos. People were not kidding about that abrupt ending haha. It really makes you think something broke with how long the black screen drags on.
After spending what will be two months writing guides for one game, yeah.
Part of the issue with this aside from changing where I'm looking is that it changes the direction I'm attacking. So if I'm trying to get an annoying enemy shooting me from afar, the camera jolts to the boss, and now I'm hitting the air haha.
Crimson Desert boss fights love to take over your camera waaaay too much. Every time I want to look away from the boss to focus on other enemies or to move somewhere, it jolts my camera back to the boss. I don't know why there isn't an option to have complete control over my camera.
One of the sillier Crimson Desert bugs I've had. The lift stopped rising despite turning in the correct direction and then suddenly:
doordash grandma DoorDash does not have a specific policy for seniors or helping grandparents, as the provided articles do not mention DoorDash's policies or services for seniors. If you have a follow-up question, feel free to let me know. how the fuck do I just search WaPo articles? To search Washington Post articles, you can use the "Ask The Post Al" tool, which is a generative Al tool that provides summary answers and curated results directly to users. WaPo website replaced search with AI and it's going great
I swear that certain parts of Crimson Desert get worse the more time you spend with them. Came across a boss I could wipe out, but I'm spending more time on them so I can write up a guide. And in the process, I'm noticing bugs and other crap. With that said, this isn't the case for everything
This one's still on my list after beating Fear & Hunger 2 last year. One of these days I'll come around to the pain that this game probably is as well haha
For some reason that reminded me of another open source game, FreedroidRPG. I must have first played them around the same time.
It's been a minute since I've thought about Wesnoth haha.
