How often is this course offered? Or is this a one-time opportunity? Thanks!

Excited to cite this work, which expands nicely on my team’s 2025 pub!
We also compared actigraphy vs. self-report (daily diary) across the perinatal period, but only out to 4 months (instead of 12!). We interpreted our results with some qualitative data, too!

Our article on perinatal self-injurious thoughts & behaviors is out today! We found that the odds of engaging in self-injurious behavior were 256% higher at 7 months postpartum relative to 3rd trimester of pregnancy, even after accounting for three risk factors. doi.org/10.1111/sltb...
How can we optimize single-session mental health supports, to radically expand access to care for people with unmet needs?
I got to discuss my favorite topic (and my new book) on the Wondros podcast :)

New pub on perinatal sleep!!
🤰😴
Diary + actigraphy data tended to track with each other from 3rd trimester to 4mo postpartum, but WASO was significantly more discrepant during 6wk post. We interpret these and other results with qual data, too! Yay mixed methods!

Excited to share our new publication in Journal of Affective Disorders! Women with perimenopausal depression show distinct resting-state connectivity at baseline compared to controls. After 3 weeks of estrogen, that connectivity shifts. Read more: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

I'm hiring for a study coordinator to join the MAPPED lab. Please distribute to anyone who may want to work on a couple of clinical trials with youth and families focused on interventions for teen self-injury and borderline personality disorder features. utah.peopleadmin.com/postings/174...
VERY helpful 🧵 as I’m about to begin my EMA study on perinatal SITBs. I’m planning to use items from already “validated” measures (rather than generating my own single items) and just assumed you’re supposed to stick with their pre-established response formats … Questioning that now 🤔🫠
❗️Our next workshop will be on November 26th, 6 pm CET on Visualizing Variance with Sankey diagrams/Riverplots using R by @dpmoriarity.bsky.social !

So many new followers!! Hi folks, nice to meet you all. 🖤
I'll introduce my core research interests by showing you some of the work we've done in recent years on the conceptualization, measurement, modeling, and theories of mental health (problems).

Needed to see this thread today, TYSM 🙏🏼😭 I’ll add that when my imposter syndrome is flaring, I try to reflect on the environment around me. Is there any toxicity that’s fueling the imposter syndrome? That helped me through a tough situation in grad school where for years I blamed “imposter syndrome”
Last couple of days I've gotten more followers from the immune crowd- figured I'd take the opportunity to do a mini 🧵on one of my papers related to biological measurement in prep for some forthcoming immune methods pre-prints. 1/8

Has anyone ever done a regions of significance test using pooled analysis with the MICE package in R? We LOVE the interactions package but haven't had any success accounting for multiple imputation

@sheilacrowell.bsky.social @lizconradt.bsky.social and I would love to be added if there’s space! They may have additional folks to suggest. Thanks for creating this group! Eager to learn from everyone 💙
Hello! I’m trying to put together a perinatal mental health research starter pack. Please comment if you want to be added and share to advertise! ❤️ #academicsky

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed to read right now. The inspiration and motivation I needed for my job market research statement! Connecting this to my and my colleagues’ work on emergence of perinatal suicidality informed by dynamical systems 💫
Blog on our new JoPACS viewpoint led by @molthof.bsky.social, highlighting problems of ignoring socio-environmental causes for psychopathology, using the example of the p-factor for which all dominant theories position liability *within* the person.

Reposting, now that I’m on the suicidologist starter pack. Still learning this new-ish platform.
I was hoping to stumble upon this group at some point! Would love to be added if there’s space! (Side Q: Do starter packs run out of room? 😅) I’ll see if my colleague Nicolette C. Molina has an account. If so, she’s a superstar add as well 🤩
I made a suicidology/NSSI starter pack! Share and comment below to be added.

I enjoyed this conversation about parental stress for The Newsworthy podcast w/ Erica Mandy. We talked about why the Surgeon General thinks that parents' stress is a public health problem and how to build a society that takes the pressure off of parents. open.spotify.com/episode/6UYL...
