After going around in circles with the government, after getting a hospital type chair, I finally got a manual chair that the RAMQ is paying for. Due to extremely severe carpal tunnel I'll need some sort of power assist.
I'll finally get some autonomy back!
I've been so quiet lately, sorry! I had a whoolleee months long Saga with the RAMQ (Canadian Health Care) and well, happy to say I am getting my own manual wheelchair. So I'll gain my autonomy back!
I'm also on the waiting list for Carpal Tunnel Surgery.
I have my hospital-type wheelchair that my wife pushes me in.
Now, after two, if not three months of calling places (thank you, ramq) I managed to be able to get an occupational therapist.
And now, in 6 to 9 months, I will have my very own manual chair ♡♡

Welp! Been a week that I felt like my right ear is clogged, and I have dizziness and nausea.
Went to see a dr. Turns out it could very well be Ménière's Desease.. or a stray crystal in my ear.
I have meds and exercises to do!
I'll be rotating in my bed like a rotisserie chicken

We sadly had to send our old lady Flonne to the Rainbow Bridge. She had a tumor on her face and the meds weren't working :(
The Vet was kind and let me hold her as he sent her off. We'll miss you, old grumpy lady.
On a positive note, it's been 2 - 3 times now that a murder of crows come in the yard and eat from the bird feeder! I'm always so happy to watch them eat and fly about.
Or maybe they're ravens? Their tails are fan shaped!
I'm a 33% of having my wheelchair being funded. It's a "medical wheelchair" and not the really awesome ones because well.. that would need to be custom made and it would be way too expensive for us.
