Same. I skipped 8th grade and was 13 in the 9th grade. However whatever the case 13 years old is way too young and maybe the majority of US 13 year old girls are in middle school.

It’s probably too late for this.

But it would be beyond meaningful to see my dad recognized at the “In Memoriam” part of the Oscars.

He died in June.
He worked for decades in the movie business, marketing movies. Big movies. Like Star Wars.

I can’t express how much it would have meant to him.
