I wandered around the house trying to pick out my most boring rock. But when I put the one that probably didn't want to be bothered in the sun it didn't look so boring after all.
Plus, I got to tell my son about some of them, and that was a nice distraction for us both.

I had an account briefly for bus reports from my kid's school since the school bus was late a lot. And I used that to get "news" when the borders were closed. All said I think I've spent less than two total hours on twitter and zero on x. I think it was rage bait anyway.

I'm fully aware of what's going on and directly affected by multiple aspects of it.

As my post says- I can't focus on it all of the time because it will drive me insane.
It is OKAY to take a break. You should encourage it.
It makes it very hard to self regulate when the tap is on full blast all of the time.
I don't think it's cooked per se. But we do need to learn, as a whole, to rest when we can. Not everything is worth running around screaming about the sky falling. If the sky is constantly falling then how are we still breathing? How are we still yelling?

We need to talk. And keep talking. Leave when we need to. But keep coming back when we can.
