My PR description is so horrible too, because I'm trying to explain what normalize() is doing to a float4, which is basically reverse-normalizing the values so the square root of the sum of their squares equal 1, when we just want the sums to equal one, and I'm bad at this sort of thing explicitly

I actually actively develop on our game right now, but it's the most inglamourous stuff ever. Like it's just me putting pull requests in like "shrunk colliders on trees" and I spend my time running into trees in the game to see if they make me want to kill myself.

This one is a bit of a flex on my part, I'm culling based on a simple angle calculation based on camera position mostly so my gpu doesn't melt when I'm not rendering, and there's a three-tier LOD system based on raw camera distance which is probably overkill. But AE genuinely could never.

Begging my fellow video folk who've been using After Effects for decades to learn Blender, especially if your main thing is visualizing difficult concepts. This is a scene with 200,000 dynamically generating objects in it, with well over 10,000 on screen at a time (closer to 20k). AE could never.

This is a silly use case, the actual magic is being able to use 3D geometry as a paintbrush to make our level design waaaaaaaay cooler and less laborious to put together.
