Unfortunately, the glue ALSO got into the battery cable, which the replacement battery did not come with one of, meaning we have to get one of those too now!

Yes, I did in fact deal with this exact issue today at work, and had to inform the user never to do that ever again because it was a massive fire hazard.

IT for the day: If your laptop charge doesn't last long, and the bottom panel pops open and won't stay properly closed, DO NOT try to superglue it closed. The reason it's not closing is likely your battery has expanded, and on the verge of exploding, so please let an IT person handle it!
